Previously a broom cupboard, Faith and her husband Scott saw that this little nook in Bath city centre had potential. To have a premises within a craft coffee shop sounded like heaven to Faith, who is a self confessed coffee snob.
The dream continued to grow as they realised they could even squeeze in a full wash basin and reclining vintage barbering chair. A few weeks, and a lot of hard work later, Matchbox was born. To date it is the United Kingdom’s smallest unisex hair salon.

Faith opened Matchbox in 2018.
With 10 years experience, she cuts ladies and mens hair, with a particular flair for short styles.

When not cutting hair she enjoys painting, singing and doting on her mischievous cat, Bonnie.
​

Melissa has fifteen years of industry experience. She trained at the prestigious Toni and Guy academy, and found she had a talent for cutting.
She creates phenomenal scissor fades, as well as handling long hair with confidence, and did we mention her blow dries!

You'll find Melissa in salon on a Mondays, when she's not being Mum to her two gorgeous littles.
